I started NovaOR because I witnessed, firsthand, how hospitals fail — not from ignorance, but from fragmentation.

The gap between knowing what a patient needs and delivering it on time, in sequence, with the right hands — that gap kills people. Not because clinicians are incompetent, but because the systems they work within were never designed as systems.

NovaOR is my attempt to build the operating system that should have existed a decade ago. Seven domains. One ontology. One execution engine. Edge-first, because the operating theatre cannot pause to wait for a request to a foreign cloud. Sovereignty-respecting, because the hospital's data belongs to the hospital.

We are building from Casablanca — not despite the constraints of the global south, but because of them. The architecture that works here will work everywhere. The architecture that only works in Boston will never work here.
